It is great to take something old and turn it into something useful and decorative. I found a few uses for these repurposed wood windows.
I loved how these repurposed wood windows turned out.
These windows did not have years of paint and cracking on them. I wanted the windows to have an old antique feel, so I used an antiquing glaze to help achieve this look.
I used mirror spray paint on the window panes to give the glass more of an aged look.
It is the close up picture that makes you want to hang this is your house.
This is the dirty plain windows that I started with. They came in a set and the other half has a single pane, so I will be making something creative to fill the glass pane.
What ideas do you have for old windows? Do you have any in your home?

I love it! The hooks are such a great idea, too. I’ve never heard of mirror spray paint, either–I’m excited to find out about/experiment with that! 🙂
See you tomorrow for SoMe2!
