As you all know, I love to decoupage on furniture. I will use just about any material to add to a piece of furniture to give it charter. I used wrapping paper on this French Decoupage Cabinet.
This cabinet was in pretty good shape when I purchased it from a thrift store for a bargain. It just needed some paint and a few added details to give her a new life.
I almost forgot to take a before photo of this one. You can see that I started to paint the top in the picture.
I used left over French wrapping paper that I used on this Eiffel Tower Dresser on the sides and front doors. If you want to know what products I use to decoupage, visit my post on How to Decoupage Furniture and I share my tricks as well as my favorite products.I painted the decoupage cabinet using Maison Blanche Vintage Furniture paint in the color Confederate Gray. I sealed it with varnish and used the Annie’s Reserve in licorice.

Hi Shirley,
If you are only going to mod podge on Peter Rabbit, I would not sand anything just apply the decal.
