Here on Designed Decor, I share many tutorials and DIY projects. I list the products I use in each post and I wanted to make it easier for you to find my favorite products. I have used many products and my shelves are loaded with products that I have used over the years. After much trial and error, these are the products that I find I reach for the most when I am creating the next project. I hope you like them as much as I do.
I love to do most of my home shopping at local thrift stores and transform old treasures into new pieces. I do shop for new home decor pieces as well and when I shop at retail stores, I like to find good bargains as well. Here is a list of my favorite places to find new home decor items.
World Market – This is one of my favorite places to shop for a great selection of kitchen and dining items. I love their great selection of table linens. Sign up to a rewards member and you get so many additional coupons above their advertised items.
Wayfair – Great online shopping for all your home decor needs. They have a great selection and the prices can be budget friendly.
Amazon – Of course! This is the first place I shop for everything from specialty tea to kitchen gadgets. I did sign up to be an amazon prime member this year and I have to say I have enjoyed the benefits of this. I used to add items to my cart to qualify to get the free shipping, now I buy what I need and still get the free shipping.
Decor Steals– You must sign up to receive the daily steal. Some items sell out quickly, so don’t wait if you truly love the item.
ETSY – I am all about supporting a handmade shop and Etsy is the first place I go to for one-of-kind items.
Shoot Fly Shoot This was the best photography help I have received. I am such a visual learner and their videos were the perfect balance of teaching without getting too technical. They also have a great lightroom training video as well.
Lightroom – Hands down the best investment I have made. I am not a photoshop guru and I was able to learn lightroom quite easily from the beginning.
BoardBooster – This site allows me to schedule pins on Pinterest without living my life on Pinterest and pinning live 24 hours a day. Pinterest is a huge traffic generator to my site and BB helps me to continue to pin my own posts along with much more.
ConvertKit – Email Marketing for Professional Bloggers – I started to see better results with email growth after switching to convertKit. It was very easy to switch over my current subscribers and set up automation and my monthly newsletters.
