What a great weekend it was. I was able to meet a wonderful group of ladies who I know from blogging online, and we were able to meet face to face and give each other hugs!
The BloggyCon 2013 Blog conference was held at Cedar Point. Wow, Cedar point did a fantastic job hosting this conference. The conference started Friday night with a meet and greet and ended Sunday by noon. We jammed pack a bunch of learning and great girlie fun into such a short period of time.
Honda was a sponsor and gave each of us this fun teddy bear. Our mission was to photograph (#HondaLove) our bears doing various fun things in the blog conferences as well as any fun things we did after the conference. If you would like to see all the fun things that Templeton has been up too, you need to hop on over to my Instagram page and give me a follow. I promise, he has been busy and he is one talented teddy bear.
We had to stop and get a photograph by the Udderly Smooth Cow(another great conference sponsor) I had some favorite sessions from the conference. The first was the presentation from Amy @ One Artsy Mama. Amy gave a spectacular presentation on Building and Engaging your community. This girl rocks when it comes to social media.
The next session I enjoyed was the presentation from Honda on How to Pitch Brands. This session was jam packed with great advice on how to approach brands and what they are looking for. The last of my favorite sessions was from Chrissy Watson from Bloggylaw.com. Even though is was a presentation on laws and the FTC, Chrissy did a great job in keeping it light.
We decided as a group that we would bring each other gifts, we were to bring 5 of our favorite things. Look at all the fabulous gifts that the ladies jam packed in our gift bags. This was such a fun and great idea, it was like Christmas. If you did not see what I brought for the ladies, you can find my 5 favorite things here.
It was such a blessing to meet these ladies in person and now we are real life friends! Oh, did I mention we did some major idea brainstorming and the five of us above came up with an awesome idea that we will be sharing soon. We are in the planning stages, so we will be making an announcement when all the details are worked out. All I can say, is it will be great fun!
